The balance between the stars, streetlights, and steam seems impossible. I had to look up steam clock to understand it, and it sure seems like a lot of work to find out what time it is. Fav.
Fabulous photo goes without saying! What was your weather like - warm spell to let the mist rise off the streets and the stars shine so brightly?
I thought "steam clock" was a joke but I googled it. Now I want one - and a mechanic to keep it running. With steam whistle "chimes" no less! Just the thing to keep John Hartford's "Steamboat Whistle Blues" at bay!
@abirkhill, may I share this on Facebook? I've got friends who are interested in engineering who've probably never heard of a steam clock, and certainly never seen such a fine photo of one!
