My partner Felicity challenged me to try a vortograph. This one done with my cellphone and a DIY kaleidoscope. It is very wavy since I made the kaleidoscope of vinyl rather than glass, and also the image has been postprocessed to give it an oil paint look.
Oh I am impressed Adi! A really unique look:) I do hope you didn't find this too easy (but I expect you did) - I tried to make one a few days ago using a CD but it didn't work at all. I felt really stupid because I couldn't get it right. Then I just happened to tilt my mobile phone screen down and caught the reflection of the sky and thought, bingo, this is how it's done!
