'Mr T. ...The Unexpected Guest...'

I went out the back door this afternoon and found this young fella in an empty plant pot.

How he got there I am not sure (the plant pot was upright so I laid it on its side so Mr T. could 'escape').

Mr T is commonly called The common toad, (Bufo Bufo, from Latin bufo "toad"),

Normally inconspicuous during the day, it becomes active at dusk and spends the night hunting for the invertebrates on which it feeds.

Checking on Mr T late afternoon he'd gone, perhaps getting busy for tonight's hunt!
