BIG T TRIATHLON – MONDAY 2ND MAY 2016
THE BIG T TRI IS ONE OF THE SOUTH WEST’S PREMIER TRIATHLON EVENTS – BASED IN TROWBRIDGE, WILTSHIRE
The Big T Tri takes place on the Monday 2nd May 2016 bank holiday before the start of the open water season. With two event distances on offer and a friendly, competitive atmosphere, there is something for every level of athlete to get their teeth into at this event based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.
The Big T Sprint consists of a 400m swim in the safety of Clarendon Pool before a fast 25km bike course on quiet roads. Finally, a largely flat 5km run will see competitors home to receive their race t-shirt and goody bag.
If you want something more challenging, the Big T Standard is a 600m pool swim followed by a two-lap 48km bike route and 10km run.
The raceday also incorporates the Little T Kid’s Aquathlon, which features a variety of swim/run distances suitable for all ages and abilities.
