Saddleback Sheepling by ajisaac

Saddleback Sheepling

This part of the lambing season is such a great time of year, when the little ones are developing their own characters, just like us humans.

This sheepling (my term for a growing lamb) looks like it is enjoying annoying its mum by riding cross saddle back whilst trying to each grass on the opposite side of mum.

It looks like mum is having a few choice words with her offspring.

Now us humans would never behave like that would we!!!

Great image, love the expression on mum's face. Young animals can be just as pesky sometimes as young humans.

@tramway Thank you-I snap about 5 or 6 shots, but this one with mum's face is my favourite & I was fortunate to catch her at the right moment. Kids - who would have them!!!

Wonderful pov and great expression on the ewe's face, a version of which is often to be seen on the faces of human mums ... fav for me!

@sketch2 Thanks. I think mum was about to lay the law down when I had to leave!
