Stourhead Fading Light by ajisaac

Stourhead Fading Light

This afternoon took a trip to the National Trust gardens at Stourhead , which are about 40 minutes drive away.

This shot is of the fading light across the palladian bridge there just before I headed back to the Spread Eagle Inn for a pint.
One of my favourite places - lots of family connections as many of my family worked on the estate (before and after the gardens were created) -and were baptised, married & buried in the church. I expect they drank in the pub too. Love your photo - very different to the normal Stourhead photos, very original. Fav

Beautiful light. People in silhouette gives a very special touch and enhances the composition. Bravo, good capture, a star for you.
