Cattle in the Mist

Another frosty day, with the sunshine burning through.

Another drive over Salisbury Plain to the abandoned village of Imber which only is open 3 or 4 times of year.

As the mist was rising I caught these cows in its haze..

Just looked up Imber it looks interesting. On list of places to visit in 2017

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Thank you for your kind comments. I grew up in one of the villages that the Imber folk were moved too (never to return to to Imber after WW2) so I heard some of the stories about it from the older folk who used to live there.
