Entering Jungleland

'Entering Jungleland' is a shot inspired by Bruce Springsteen's song 'Jungleland' of life in the hood.

My shot tells the story of a teenage girl entering the hood on a Friday night ready to immerse herself in the 'Jungleland code'

[The above is just a rock 'n' roll fantasy so her's some of the lyrics from the song]

'The midnight gang's assembled
And picked a rendezvous for the night
They'll meet 'neath that giant Exxon sign
That brings this fair city light
Man, there's an opera out on the Turnpike
There's a ballet being fought out in the alley
Until the local cops, Cherry-Tops, rips this holy night
The street's alive as secret debts are paid
Contacts made, they flash unseen
Kids flash guitars just like switchblades
Hustling for the record machine
The hungry and the hunted
Explode into rock 'n' roll bands
That face off against each other out in the street
Down in Jungleland'
Luridly good! Just asking for the imagination to offer an interpretation so will invent own story if thats OK! Fav

@magrathea Thank you for your generous words, which are greatly appreciated & for the fav too. You are most welcome to offer your own interpretation - after all, we all like a little rock 'n' roll fantasy in our lives don't we (?).
