Once again, I couldn't choose a pic from our daytrip (this time we went to Healesville). There were lots of gorgeous autumn trees, as well as some lovely birds. This collage features a special guest image by my other half who poached the camera from me to snap the amorous cockatoo in the top right. (There are actually two of them up there - the male spent a good ten minutes trying to attract the female with wing flapping and squawking. She flew off after a while, with him in hot pursuit!). The galahs, on the other hand, were much more interested in chewing their snacks.
Fabulous! The birds are my favorite, especially the galahs as I have never seen one of them before. Love their color. I am glad you made a collage so we could see it all!
lovely collage, Healesville is another great destination, I will probable be driving through the area next week on a brief trip to the mainland, nice to be reminded that I will see Autumn colours, I tend to forget seasons other than hot and wet and hot with rain less often
