Today's word was 'mass'. You might think the scales tell you your weight, but actually they're telling you your mass. Mass is related to what you're made of, while weight depends on the gravity where you are - so if you want to lose weight without having to diet or exercise, just go to the Moon - the lower gravity means you'd weigh less there, though you'd still have the same mass.
(That's what happens when you let a physicist loose on 365...)
nice processing on a nice shot, it's so dramatic. i'm not a friend of the scales, yeah, it makes me cry everytime. so i got rid of my bathroom scales. i just learned to love my "mass" and i'm not even a catholic anymore.
Somehow I missed this one! Would love to weigh myself on the moon. It would be a real ego booster. But until I can I will continue to exercise in the pool and reduce my mass the old-fashioned way. (o: Like your shot!!
