Have I said it, that this logo is cute? It is! 8) As for starting conversations, I'm usually the one who responds, I don't start, I mostly act like a deep sea clam. XD
Being a foodaholic, you just have to let me know what these logos are on!! It is a sweet logo... and I like the texture of the ?paper.
What a lovely idea to have an RUOK day.. never heard of it. I think it's too easy to swan around oblivious of the world around... last week I saw an elderly lady slumped on a walker by a wall.... stopped to ask if she was ok and she said she was just waiting for a lift and enjoying the sunshine, but she was clearly touched that I took the trouble. (no trouble really). It made me feel a bit bolder for 'next time'.
Isn't there a song about reach out and touch somebody... ?! (Without getting arrested if possible) !!
RUOK Day is an interesting concept. On the one hand we have people who never stop telling us their most insignificant thought and on the other, we have the people living lives of quiet desperation. Too bad we couldn't achieve a happy balance.
Great Lable. I looks like it is on cloth. The texture shows up so well. I've never heard of RUOK day but what a great idea. I'm not great at starting conversations with strangers but maybe a family member needs to talk. I'll check it out.
i like what looks like little blue flowers along the bottom edge - might not be what they are, but gives that impression. nice shot. the crop gave it really nice texture.
Interesting texture on that container. And yes, actually I had a friend visit today because she needed to talk! How about that and I didn't even know it was a "talk to someone" day.
@filsie65 The foods so far are Redwoods Cheezly and Cheatin' ham :) There's a whole range of yummy sandwich slices and soy-based cheeses :) The sunflower vegan logo tends to be used most by British companies.
nice shot, alia. sometimes, i do tend to talk to strangers, on buses, on the train, or just walking down the street. thankfully, i know if someone does not want to have a prolonged conversation. what i never know how to detect are the talkers - some would have no hold bars ranting, or simply talking about their lives. but then i guess they wanted to simply let it out of their system. but mostly, i like to listen anyway, and then i get home and i have something to write about.
