Family traditions #5 - Thankful 4 challenge

The closest I could think of to a tradition... It was 38C, so Phoenix did what she always does when it gets hot. She flew to her favourite perch, sat there baking herself, then started panting. There are plenty of cooler places to sit, but it's just what she does... crazy bird!
(Looks like I need to clean the camera lens too!)

Lovely capture and composition. Humans do like Phoenix when they come holidaying in Malta in Summer and just lie down baking in the scorching sun for a whole day.

Awww ... my cat like to sit in the sun and bake, too. When he get too hot, though, he will move. ;-)

What a cute shot! I love that the birds get to come out of their cages. They are happy birds with a good home. You definitely show how much you love them in the pictures you take of them! (Sorry I am so late in commenting. I've been off 365 for a bit!)
