We headed back south to catch up with a friend in Bristol. We had a lovely time chatting, having lunch and on a boat trip along the river. While wandering around the town we spotted a street where each building had a different mural - there was a competition of sorts on, apparently. Some of them were not very interesting, but I loved this one :)
that's a tremendous mural, must have been a lot of work to paint something so tall on the side of a building like that - has a rather steampunk feel for me
That has some very unique symbolism to it. It reminds me of St. George the Dragon slayer- but obviously it's not that! At first I thought it was a wood carving and then realized it's on the side of a building- wow- that's one tall painting! Nice capture!
@boogie We were in the UK for 3 1/2 weeks from Christmas. Had a brilliant time doing a whistle-stop tour (2200 miles in the hire car!) and catching up with friends and family :)
