Snacktime in parrotland

It's been a busy day at work, then I had to go to the computer shop to collect the data retrieved from my old laptop, then to the shops (which I timed just before a huge thunderstorm hit - the lights in the shops kept flashing on and off and we could hear the rain on the roof - from right inside the shopping centre!). I finally made it home, and then launched into a huge bake-a-thon as someone at work has a birthday tomorrow so there'll be a morning tea. Sometimes being the cupcake queen is quite a reputation to live up to! The girls were pretty well behaved and found themselves some snacks. (They both had baths too - whenever there's a lot of rain outside, they decide that means they should get wet!)

Today's holiday pic is from the Avebury stone circle: http://365project.org/alia_801/365/2013-01-03

Too much work. You must slow down. Like the 'girls' - they know how to take life. Great shot of them.

Well everyone seems to be happily munching away. That's quite a complex they have there! It reminds me of some of those fancy jungle gyms they builds out of wood. Glad you were able to get home safely!

@olivetreeann That's just the tops of their houses in the kitchen - they have play stands in the living room and spare room, Magic likes sitting on the bedroom ceiling fan (when it's turned off, of course), and Phoenix has her window seat/blinds too... and then there's my head and t-shirt... and the toy hanging from the ceiling...

No, my girls aren't spoilt at all! :)
(Actually parrots need constant stimulation to keep them healthy and avoid feather plucking and other problems).
