I'm lucky to have a very varied job (today I've been to a seminar, had consultations with two students, run a workshop, met with colleagues, and planned a class - and that's just the bits I can remember!).
A big part of my day is spent in front of my computer sending and replying to emails. Sometimes it can be a bit tedious reading through things that aren't very interesting, but I love when I have the opportunity to help one of the students with something - a quick email from me with a useful handout or a few tips can get them on track without them having to make a big trek to visit in person - everybody happy :)
great for you, alia. i love my job because i work for two really nice people. it's the others around us that makes the day go bad. sometimes you can ignore them, most times they're in your face.
It's always a good thing when you enjoy your job. I think it's important. If you like your job, then you will excel at it and it helps you be happy, both at work and at home because if you don't like your job, it just brings stress home. Nice shot of your computer screen.
