A few years ago I had a bright streetlight outside my room. After weeks of not getting much sleep, I dug out an eye mask from a previous plane trip. Problem solved... now I find it really hard to sleep without one, regardless of how dark it is!
Sounds good, the lighter mornings are waking me too early (like my internal clock which goes off at about 6.10 even at the weekends boo). This looks so comfy and soft :)
My daughter has started wearing one to block out the morning sun through the panels above her closed bedroom door...I really like the way you have used the shadows in this photo :)
I `ve the opposite problem I don`t have any problem with it. I can sleep even when there is an party in the room. When my body needs sleep I`m going to sleep no matter where I`m or what time it is . The best thing to get in sleep for me is watching TV.
I tried using one on a plane once but since I'd never slept with anything on my face, I was too sensitive feeling it there! Glad it works for you though!
Good shot! I love the color contrasting with your pillow. I have a lavender scented eye pillow that I have to leave in the freezer for an eye condition that acts up. What I use to help me sleep is a box fan. Not as exciting or picturesque as your pretty sheets and eye pillow. I'm glad this works for you. And just in case you were wondering, yes I have a little fan that travels with me to use in hotels. I can't fall asleep without the noise of it.
@bella_ss Nope, I've never been able to sleep on planes - these days I deliberately stay awake when flying (with lots of caffeine) then sleep for as long as necessary on arrival...
@alia_801 Maybe that's a plan I should adopt on my upcoming European trip. I've never been able to sleep very well on those long flights either. I wish someone would move London and Sydney just a little closer ;-)
