I thought it was time I got a shot with both girls together. Of course, they didn't want to oblige, hence a slightly blurry Magic (front). Phoenix was, as usual, carefully watching proceedings from a safe distance.
@mittens No, they're not related as far as we know. We got Magic as a baby from a local breeder. Phoenix came to us as a rescue when her original owner went overseas.
@snowy They are getting better - when we first brought Phoenix home, they'd scream at each other from across the room and wouldn't get within metres of each other. Now they occasionally get within a wingspan of each other without quarrelling. (Phoenix did once preen Magic's tail feathers when Magic was distracted - though she got a bit uppity when she noticed what was going on!)
