We had a storm go through this afternoon (right when I was leaving work, of course!). When I stopped off to get petrol on the way back it had just passed over and this pretty rainbow was left :) If you look hard you might see the secondary rainbow too.
@alia_801@olivetreeann Hey ladies, I know you have both been very active with monthly themes in the past, and I wondered whether anything was in the works for August. I was thinking it might be cool to do some sort of "photography book club" and read/work through a book together. I've been reading Freeman Patterson's classic "Photography and the Art of Seeing" and thought it could work. It's a mix of reflection, exercises, and images. What do you think?

@archaeofrog Sounds really interesting Katie! I will see if I can pick up a copy asap. Would you be willing to maybe pick out some of the points that we could work on perhaps on a weekly basis (not having read the book I'm not sure of the format). Keep in mind though that I have a p & s which does not always translate to the more intricate ins and outs of camera settings. But I think my camera can do more than I realize and this might help me to understand the info in the manual.
