Dimmey's facade

This building used to be a shop in Richmond. It closed down a few months ago, and now they are turning it into apartments. Well, sort of... The facade is still there, but if you look closely you'll see that the rest of the building has been demolished.

Gorgeous day here to Alia - poor old Dimmeys! It is very deceptive - the facade looks as though it has depth. I hope there's no strong winds in the next few weeks.

The facade is lovely and at least they are doing something to maintain the original look. But it's hard to see landmark places disappear.

Nicely captured, Alia... It's always sad to see iconic buildings taken down but at least they are going to use it for a place for people to live. Nice job! :)
