I don't think the country relating to this pic should be too hard to guess :)
The previous shot was, as most people guessed, for Argentina. The silver was there because that's what the country was named after - the Latin for silver is 'argent'. (According to that fount of all knowledge, Wikipedia, there wasn't actually much silver around, but the Spanish thought there would be...)
I know most will guess Italy and that would be accurate, but I actually think that pasta was invented by the Chinese when they developed the long stringy kind we now call spaghetti! Good one!
@olivetreeann We actually had big arguments about the origin of pasta at our regular pub trivia. We came to the conclusion that it had probably been invented in several different places at around the same time. I was going for Italy here though as I have other plans for China and Japan later.... :)
