Another branch on my family tree has reached its end.

Your time on Earth has been and gone,
Now your memory carries on,
in David and me, who you've left behind
On your journey through the rest of time.

Jigsaw puzzles, jokes and games,

Mum was a big follower of my project, and loved looking at many of your photos too - especially the beautiful wildlife shots that so many of you take. Thank you to everyone for sharing your wonderful pics and brightening the lives of so many people - even if they never tell you they've looked.

Oh, Alia!! I am SO very sorry to hear of your loss! It sounds like your mum was a great mum. Your photo and poem are a very nice tribute to her and I'm sure she loves it. My heart goes out to you ... I never know the right things to say at times like this. Sending you hugs from across the globe.
@prttblues Thank you. I used to worry about not knowing the right things to say too, but now from the other side, I can tell you that anything a friend says to express sympathy and support at a time like this is the right thing.

i'm sorry to hear about your loss, alia. losing anyone you love dearly is always difficult and your heart will be heavy with sadness in the days to come, but it will be lightened by remembering all the wonderful and beautiful memories you have of her. this is a great tribute. celebrate her life, she's a wonderful person. my thoughts and prayers are with you.
