After a long day of fighting with probate forms, speaking to banks and various other legalities, we strolled through the centre of Birmingham and visited the amazing new library. We timed it (accidentally) just for the golden hour, so the light was amazing.
(Top L-R): Murdoch, Boulton and Watt; Baskerville House, BT Tower & Hall of Memory; BT Tower from the library roof garden;
(Middle L-R) Reflection of library in the Hyatt; Council house roof and B'ham flag; Top of library from the roof garden;
(Bottom L-R) Alley off Colmore Row; Lunar Society floral display, Cathedral gardens; Canalside Cafe, Gas Street Basin.
I've just been catching up with your project over the last couple of weeks. I'm so sorry to hear about your mum. I wish you well dealing with UK bureaucracy, I have been finding it challenging to say the least.
@lbmcshutter Definitely visit Birmingham - there is so much to see and do. The canals and the new Library alone are well worth the trip. Thanks for the condolences too.
@lbmcshutter We did the old Doctor Who exhibition in Llangollen, but haven't seen it since it moved to Cardiff. One of my friends has been and very much enjoyed it.
All great shots, Alia! Love the collage! I'd love to visit England some day! Sorry to hear about the woes of the legal system. At least you had a great stroll around Birmingham. I love Doctor Who!!!!!!! And Torchwood!! :D
