Continuing the B&W 'fine art' (whatever that means) part of the challenge, I kept playing with my masquerade mask... Given that I can't see more than 5cm without my glasses, it was amazing that any of the pics I took were even remotely in focus!
Wow this is so cool - I love masquerade masks too - yet this image made me think gladiatorial masks & battles (must be that cheese sandwich I had) Great image and lovely focus!
Fine Art can cover a lot of different genres- still life, abstract, portraiture, and everything in between. This shot reminds me of some of the modern artists (like Andy Warhol for instance) who relied more on graphic art than the traditional fine arts (i.e. painting and sketching) in executing their ideas on to canvas. So, even though you may feel you don't know what "Fine Art" is you've achieved a more contemporary expression of it in this shot.
