Goodbye Von

I found out yesterday that one of my close friends died last week. I met her through dance classes, but we became firm friends outside of class, catching up for dinner, going for walks or just sitting on the beach. Von was one of those special people who always make an effort to keep in touch and remember birthdays, care for everyone and was loved by everyone too. She gave me this beautiful figurine so now I post it here as a tribute to her.

So very sorry for your loss, Alia. Losing good friends can be quite hard. This is a lovely tribute to your friend. I will be trying to go to the cemetery tomorrow to visit my friend who died a year ago tomorrow. Hopefully the storm we are supposed to get holds out until after I've gone.
