I went to karaoke with my friend Karen again tonight :) It's lots of fun to hide away in a little room and warble your favourite songs at full volume, knowing that (almost) no one can hear you :)
@olivetreeann@tabarlett There's the karaoke in pubs that involves singing on a stage in front of a room full of people, but Asian karaoke just involves small groups of friends booking a room with a karaoke machine and singing with each other, so it's much more fun and less stressful. The only people who hear anything are those walking down the corridor between the rooms, which is not many people. The Asian people I've encountered there don't really mind how they sound, it's the singing part that's fun for them, so they tend to ignore everyone else anyway!
Great shot, Alia. Focus and detail are perfect. I love the way the microphone looks close up. If I had someone to go with and could find a decent song, I'd do it again.
