Pineapple

I'm joining in with @olivetreeann 's Flash-of-Red-Feb challenge. This week is about shape and form. I'm not totally sure what that means, but Other Half's pineapple had lots of interesting shapes in its form!

This is exactly what Gibson was talking about. The strong light from the left gives you some very distinct shadows. This does two things for your pineapple- it emphasizes the shape of each section and gives them a 3D appearance. Good shot Alia!
