@tabarlett Definitely stressful for everyone, but we all survived :)
@jld29 We take the girls every year for a check-up, as well as occasionally for nail clips etc. It's good because then the vet knows them and their history, should anything happen, and because birds are so good at hiding illness. A blood test showed that Phoenix might have an early stage liver condition, so we're able to keep tabs on it and modify her diet etc. Plus the vet (avian specialist) has a huge range of bird toys so the girls always get a big treat when we get home :)
