We've made it from nearly one end of the country to the other today. This morning we were in North Yorkshire, now we're in Northamptonshire! Along the way, during one of many detours (some due to us getting lost, others due to roadworks practically everywhere) we spotted this random artwork in the centre of a roundabout.
Roundabouts everywhere except here in Toronto. I find them intriguing and they do save a lot of time. never seen one with a sculpture though.
the only places we came across some was in the US.
Timing is everything on those things! This would frustrate me as I'd want to take a shot of it and I wouldn't be able to stop the car. LOL Sounds like you're having a good trip.
@bruni There are very few proper roundabouts in Australia - the drivers there can't use them properly (except in Canberra, which is full of them). The UK, on the other hand, uses them at every opportunity...
What a lot of driving...I agree a lot of Aussie drivers have no idea how to drive on roundabouts (I happen to like them except when there are people around who don't know how to use them!)
Not sure if I agree with you about Aussies using roundabouts, we have lots up here and don't have a problem with them. There was one horror intersection we came upon in England though that had three roundabouts in a row!! You left one to get on another, to get on another!

@bruni We got much to much of them. And lots of them get a sculpture in our country too.
