I had a day off today. Rather than do the usual thing (where I sit around and spend all day trying to decide what to do, then not actually doing anything), I went into the city to see a movie (Arrival), then had lunch, bought some doughnuts, went book shopping, and spent the afternoon watching James Bond DVDs with the girls.
This building was used to make lead shot. When they modernised the city centre, they kept it in place, and built the modern shopping centre around it, including the huge glass cone over the top of the tower.
