@pyrrhula It's horribly hot here at the moment - yesterday got to 36C and today has been quite similar.

@olivetreeann Their tails are mostly fixed - they can fan them and vary the pitch a little, but mostly they point straight back, so if Phoenix wants to look straight down, her tail will point straight up.
(One of my friends' birds can actually fold her tail underneath her and sit with it poking out in front of her! No idea how she does it!)
