Flinders Street Station has been hidden behind scaffolding for a while. I noticed something was different last week - it took me a few minutes to realise the scaffolding was gone and the building was all clean and shiny!
it happened to me a couple of times. for the last 10 years most of Toronto was in renovation and the old buildings were forever wrapped in scaffoldings and nettings. one day i was strolling and thought the world might be ending as it seemed peaceful and the light was different. it turned out the scaffoldings were gone and the buildings spanking clean! this one is a beautiful building and i especially like that clock!
I find railroad buildings have so much in common. yours looks so much like the one in my hometown when I was still living in Hamburg, Germany. needless to say, it's a nice clean looking building.
