Problem Solved

Here’s a little household hack that might interest you. The new toothpaste tubes are made of a kind of plastic that retains its form. Consequently it is hard to squeeze the last bit out the way you could with the metal tubes. So I cut the bottom off the old tube and just dip my brush into the container. There was still about 15% of the toothpaste remaining in the tube. For hygiene’s sake, I recommend this only if you are the only one using the tube. I’ve gotten at least two additional weeks worth of toothpaste for my efforts. A petty victory you say? Perhaps but I take my wins where I can.
