allison, it's funny how this experience coincided with mine yesterday. while i was at the park, i also took photos of a similar subject (ducks-- but not as lovely as the collage you've put in) by the lake, but in the end decided to post the father and daughter shot instead.
thanks for the decription on love and trust, that perfectly suited what the photo was trying to convey...
