This view of the James River was taken just east of the Huguenot Bridge, where the water flows placidly and people can float in tubes and sun themselves on the rocks.
It looks so beautiful at this spot. I was accustomed to seeing the James River in Lynchburg and the surrounding areas. It didn't look this beautiful there. This is gorgeous.
