So you really like to take pictures and are thinking maybe you'd like photography to be more than a hobby. Consider the school photographer, organizing one group of unruly kids after another. I think I'll keep my day job and snap pictures just for fun
Perfect theme shot! I'm with you... I'll skip the school photographer gig! You have to admire the people who have the talent and patience for that job!
That's a Classic! It's such a perfect photo, coming from you, and who amongst us can't relate to this situation! I'd say this guy definitely has his work cut out for him! ...speaking of cut, I envy you hugely that you and your husband share haircuts! I'll be at square one with someone new every three weeks while we're away...you may not be getting any selfies from the road!
Nope... wouldn't touch that job! Not only the "herding cats" problem .... but what happens if the picture of "little Johnny" doesn't turn out quite right!! School photographers need a medal.
Medical professionals do make some of our worst patients, LOL, but all too often we try to have ourselves diagnosed even before we go to the doctor. We've been moving stuff about in the basement and I think this may have contributed to my current situation. It was quite incapacitating.
This is a wonderful photo for the theme. But more than that it is also a very interesting photo. I would not want his job of trying to get everyone in the group posed for the "parent-pleasing" photo.
I have to tell ya...they don't get any better when they get older...lol. It is so hard taking photos of large groups. I've had to take group shots of physicians on steps and it's an impossible task. Even at an older age, you've still got a few clowns in the crowd.
Interesting to see it's school photographer season there - it is here too :) I've been bumping in to the same photographer in a few of my schools. Yvonne is a long-time school photographer doing individual, family and class shots for one of the largest school photography companies in the UK and after talking to her and watching her work it's certainly not a job I'd fancy!
