This is from my collection of Swarovski glass. I belonged to their Collectors Society and seriously collected their crystal for about 5 years. We even traveled to Swarovski Kristallwelten (Crystal Worlds) at its original Wattens site near Innsbruck Austria. Then John and I reached a point in our lives where we didn't need any more stuff. We enjoy what we have without feeling the urge to acquire anymore. It's actually rather liberating.
Thanks for your note, Allison. I've been adding pictures a few at a time, as I feel that I can handle the challenge. My father's death was quite unexpected. He was only 78, had just had a physical and my mom found him in his garden. I am posting because it has become a part of my year. It's not my intention to make anyone uncomfortable ...
@sarasdadandmom It's actually pretty compact and sturdy. I have had accidents with more delicate Swarovski items when trying to photograph them for 365. You'd think I would learn...
Sorry I haven't been on you site for a while, I've been a bit snowed under, but getting there :)
I have a few Swarovski crystals too - I am a sucker for their sparkle ;)
