Made in India

Storm drain cover at school.I like the lines and texture of this photograph but what I can't figure out is why this cover comes all the way from India. I have noticed other drain covers on the street near my home are also from India. Has India cornered the drain cover market in Richmond? I know we're in a global economy but I do think they could have found a drain cover factory closer to home.
