This picture may not be the sharpest but here is why I love it: I was walking to my car when I spotted this mockingbird planning his next move. Without breaking stride, I grabbed my camera and got off this shot before I spooked him into taking wing.
I really like the way his feet just fit the top of the hydrant. Mockingbirds are delightful birds to watch and listen to.
hi allie! looks like he belongs there for sure, very nice for a quick grab shot! i love mockingbirds too....there's one at my mom that has an amazing repertoire including a bull frog, a red-tailed hawk, and a cell phone ringing! I get the biggest smile out of that every time i hear it!
Very cute Allie. I plan to upload loads of England shots to Facebook and if you friend me you will be able to see all of the birds I put there. I may need a few days before I manage this project with editing and all but they will be there. Okay with you.
