The announcement this evening of the passing of Apple visionary Steve Jobs saddened me deeply. I feel as though all I knew about technology and the world it opened came to me from the mind of this man. There will be many tributes to Steve in the days ahead. I just wanted to add mine to all the others.
This is my iMac and my iPad showing the Apple homepage.
I was very saddened to learn of his passing as well. I just took a photo of the apple on my MacBook with my iPhone that I plan on posting later. He was a true pioneer and he changed the way we live.
He was truly a visionary. As I sit here looking at your picture on my iPhone I can't think what it would be like with out him and his company providing us with all these amazing inventions.
I agree with you all about Mr. Jobs and my image for today is also a tribute. I saw the news when I opened Safari on my iMac to transfer todays photos over to Aperture and then the web...and that image popped up. I was stunned but not hugely surprised after his absence from yesterday's keynote. I just sat there for about 5 minutes staring at the screen. RIP Steve.
R.I.P. Steve
