Although Alfred had missed his scheduled library period, I saw him later in the hall. I said, "We missed you Alfred," He replied proudly that he had been at the orthodontist getting his braces off. In fact, it was the orthodontist who had awarded him the crown, as well as a bag of chewy candy and two balloons! I thought this occasion should be commemorated with a picture, and he obliged with a big beautiful smile.
