Yesterday's walk seemed to be missing that certain something. No singing birds or blooming flowers. No great sun set or unusual cloud formations. Then I began to really look at my surroundings, being mindful of the stone and brick and wood of my neighborhood. Where first I plodded from block to block with little thought to what I was seeing, I soon found myself stepping purposefully, aware of the tones and textures all around me. It was a lesson to me that truly, "There are none so blind as those who will not see."
You really need to go to Italy---this is just what draws me to that country---and to England.....the texture and the archways ... you have such an eye and I love looking at your work everyday
Just read your comment and this is so uncanny as I was saying the very same thing over the last couple days. Then I figured I'd do a collage of just the little things. Too funny! Love what you've done. The textures are brilliant. It may take me some time as I'm struggling with getting the new camera and software uploaded among other things.
