One of my photography scouts alerted me to this scene soon after I arrived at school. Forsaking my duties in the library, I took off down the sidewalk to capture this pathetic snowman before the sun worked its magic. The location of the school is about 8 miles west of my neighborhood and the temperature is usually a few degrees cooler. Apparently our 10 minute snow storm on Saturday lasted a little longer further west. There was enough of the white stuff to fashion a snow creature, but what little there was on the ground soon disappeared.
I guess you could say this snowman was "out standing in its field"
@sarasdadandmom It is amazing how many teachers (and even an occasional student) alert me to possible photo ops around school. They seem to enjoy being part of the process.
