Heading Home

Since I spent the entire day traveling, I thought this image would be most appropriate. The time in the air was actually the least stressful part of the day. So many indignities to endure and signs to read and follow. What should have been plenty of time to get to my flights (one leaving from Denver and one changing planes in Washington DC) actually were rather close calls due to long lines and long distances between gates and terminals. Modern travel is not for sissies!
P.S. I hope to catch up with all my friends in the next few days.

Flying used to be a luxury, and I imagine it still is, but due to our world situations, the pleasure has definitely been replaced.

I couldn't agree with you more! I actually like it in the air (preferably first class) but what one has to go through before turns me off so much I won't even fly any more. Last time I flew was in March 2001 before 9/ll. Great job on this photo. I love it --- nothing like flying above the clouds.
