About 15 years ago a former neighbor dropped by when we moved into our current residence. She brought a little potted sedum. It lives on my back patio and gets absolutely no care. It dies back in the winter. It gets whatever water the rain brings. I give it no plant food or fertilizer. And in return, one day I look out and see these lovely blooms. Can a plant make you feel guilty?
Maybe it deserves just a little plant food every once in a while, but Mother Nature seems to be doing a fine job in taking care of it for you! Lovely plant!
Sedum is just about indestructible, or so I've been told. Mine suffered from the heat this summer but it usually does fine with no attention whatsoever. Some plants seem to thrive on neglect! Very nice photo, by the way!
Well I'm not sure about feeling guilty, but that is pretty cool that you don't have to pay much attention to them and they come up anyway, that's pretty nice of them
I don't have sedum but I have some plants that do the same and always wonder how they do it....those are my favorite kind of course. Wonder if these grow in FL.....will need to investigate. So lovely!
