So Tired

You can tell how tall this pine is by looking at the man raking leaves on the sidewalk.The tree has been listing for years. I really think it is too big to be in a front yard. I'd be afraid that it might get struck by lightning.
I'm feeling the way this tree looks. The Seattle Seahawks football team piloted by hometown boy Russell Wilson, lost a squeaker this afternoon. We are all feeling down although Russell set all kinds of records in a losing cause. He handled it better than his fans. He left the field saying he was looking forward to playing next year.

We were rooting for Russell and his team but it was a tough game. I'm glad to hear he has a positive outlook and really for a rookie, he did an EXCELLENT job and carried himself well. As for the tree, well, I probably wouldn't park near it but it's probably tilting that way because of the predominant direction of the air up there. They don't really need to take down the whole tree- it looks like they could take the top half off and it would still look full grown!

Yes, that's a tall tree all right! We had lots of them around here and I always worry about them falling during a bad storm, too. We both admire Russell and were hoping for a Seattle win. But actually will root for Atlanta to go to the Super Bowl now that all our other favorites have been eliminated.
