This papier-mâché hound is a gift from an artist whose 2 sons graduated from our school. It is such a fun piece. It looms over the central reference area and loyally guards our collection. The kids love him, and so do the librarians.

Great gift! When I was in college and thinking about going on to library school I was introduced to a children's librarian by our college librarian. She was also a talented artist who decorated her library in paper mache sculptures. It was like walking into a fairy tale!
