In a Spring Garden

I was going to the garden for inspiration again today when Ellen said she would come too. It's always fun being with a friend, especially one as knowledgable as Ellen. She pointed out a few flowers I hadn't noticed before and identified them all. The top left is Bleeding Heart that was just reaching its prime. The top right is a tiny native violet (complete with an insect visitor). The bottom right is Lesser Celandine or Fig Buttercup which turns out to be an invasive plant. It actually forms a dense mat preventing the growth of almost every other plant. And of course who could forget the dainty Forget-Me-Not? These are just a few of the lovely flowers enjoying the Spring sun.
Gorgeous Spring flower collage, Allison. I'm going to work backwards through your postings as I am playing catch up after my trip to Colorado to visit the grandchildren.
