A Community Garden by allie912

A Community Garden

I told you yesterday that there was much to see in the acreage of the neighborhood garden. Rather than spread the pictures out over a week, I am packing them into one collage. The bearded gentleman from yesterday's picture and I noticed that some gardens appeared to be abandoned while others had wonderful crops waiting to be harvested. The elephant at the top was surveying an empty patch. The other pictures represent some of the cucumbers, tomatoes and squash ready to be picked. Notice also the rain barrels on the bottom right. This garden is on a piece of city-owned property that was basically abandoned for years.
What a great idea for your community! Nice collage too- it tells a story.

Well it looks like the keeper knows how to keep things growing. It is quite a nice piece of ground and well used

What a nice collage. A community garden is such a great concept. Too bad some people lost interest. And thanks for the FAV on my photo!
