This morning was Collegiate's annual opening convocation. Everyone wears green and yellow, school colors. We assemble on the football field with each class processing in led by a student holding a flag with the class graduation year. The school head and the senior class co-presidents welcome the students, we sing the National Anthem and the Alma Mater. It is the official kick-off of the school year and a great tradition.
These third graders were in the library early. They were so enthusiastic and cute, I had to get their picture. It was fun to see how many great color-coordinated outfits the kids put together.
