Some people can keep an orchid blooming for months. I was given this miniature for my birthday in September. I carefully followed the directions and watered it once a week with one ice cube. Unfortunately I do not seem to have the magic touch. I'm hoping it will regenerate, despite my lack of a green thumb.
You never know, Allison, it may decide to send a shoot out with more blossoms. That happened with one of mine recently, for the first time ever. Keep your fingers crossed!
They last 2-4 months for us, and then we just buy a new one! (My mother wouldn't approve, but we figure the price is as good or better than keeping fresh-cut flowers in the house)
